Miss World Philippines 2015 – Hillarie Parungao

One of the biggest and oldest international pageants in the world is about begin; Miss World 2015 will surely set the world on fire with its dazzling candidates. There are many ladies aspiring to become the next Miss World titleholder and among them is Hillarie Parungao, this year’s representative of Philippines in the pageant. We had witnessed Philippines successes in different international pageants in the past 6 years and there’s no doubt that every lady who represented it is one of the fans early picks.

Philippines won a Miss World title for the first time in 2013 in the persona of the young model and actress Megan Young. Now, Hillarie is aspiring to follows Megan’s footstep and aim to win the Miss World 2015 title for her country.

Hillarie is a Filipino-Chinese model and TV host who was crowned Miss World Philippines 2015 and will represent her country in the upcoming Miss World 2015 pageant on December 19.

In 2014, Hillarie Parungao was appointed as the Philippine representative in Miss Asia Pacific World 2014 in Seoul, Korea and she finished as 3^rd runner-up. The pageant was won by Myanmar’s May Myat Noe, however she was dethroned and stripped of her title because of disagreement with Miss Asia Pacific World organizers, Hillarie then advanced to 2^nd runner-up.

On October 18, 2015 Hillarie was crowned as the Miss World Philippines 2015. She was crowned by Miss World Philippines 2014 – Valerie Weigmann. It was the first national pageant by Hillarie who hails from Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. By winning the pageant, she’s now the official representative of the Philippines in the highly anticipated Miss World 2015 pageant to be held in Sanya, China on December 19. She’s one of the many ladies who aspire to become the successor of Rolene Strauss from South Africa – Miss World 2014 titleholder.
