Today is the day that a new queen will be crown, the 65th edition of Miss World pageant will commence this December 19, 2015 live from the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China PR. The reigning Miss World 2014 - Rolene Strauss will crown her successor at the end of the competition. There are currently 114 contenders in Miss World 2015 pageant and the event will be hosted by Tim Vincent, Megan Young, Angela Chow, and Steve Douglas.
Aside from the stunning candidates from all over the world, this year's Miss World competition set of judges is filled with pageant titleholders, specifically, former Miss World winners. Among the set of judges in Miss World 2015 are the following:
- Julia Morley – Chairwoman of the Miss World Organization
- Mike Dixon – Miss World Musical Director
- Linda Pétursdóttir - Miss World 1988 from Iceland
- Agbani Darego – Miss World 2001 from Nigeria
- Azra Akın – Miss World 2002 from Turkey
- Zhang Zilin – Miss World 2007 from China PR
- Ksenia Sukhinova - Miss World 2008 from Russia
- Yu Wenxia – Miss World 2012 from China PR
There are many competitions that took place before the final night and that includes Sports & Fitness, Talent, and Top Model contests for all the candidates. The winner of these competitions will be awarded in the final night of Miss World 2015 together with the awardee for People's Choice Award, and World Fashion Designer Dresses.
